    Lights, Camera, Action!

This week's highlights included a trip for the whole year group to the Science Museum, the first House event organised by the House Captains, Chinese Christmas Cards, and the making of Pinner High School: the movie part 2!

The Maths and Science departments organised for the whole year group to attend the new 'Wonder Lab' exhibit at the Science Museum. Interactive learning opportunities abounded on a very enjoyable day for students and staff. Having an entire school on the London Underground seemed like a big undertaking, but the students were exemplary throughout. This was followed up by a very well organised and keenly contested festive House event organised by the newly elected House Captains. Meanwhile, students are busy rehearsing for our first end of term concert which take place on Thursday this week. I look forward to seeing many of you there.

Parts of this were captured on film, as Pinner High School: the movie part 2 is now in an editing suite somewhere in London. As a new school it is important to show off the brilliant work of students and staff, and having a short film on our website is a great way of letting more virtual visitors see what goes on here everyday. Students seemed to enjoy having cameras around, and I look forward to sharing the final product in due course.
